A good Uganda safari is not only about where you go. It is also about how well the journey is handled between each place. This 6 day Uganda safari takes you from Entebbe International Airport or Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park, then onwards to Queen Elizabeth National Park for wildlife, boat cruises, scenery, chimpanzee tracking and relaxed time in nature. Uganda is beautiful. Maromi is reliable. You land at Entebbe, your driver guide is waiting, your bags are loaded into a well maintained 4×4, and the journey begins with a clear route, realistic timing, safe driving and help at every step. That is the difference between simply visiting Uganda and feeling properly looked after while you explore it.
Why This Safari Works
Many visitors choose a safari by looking at the parks first. That is normal, but it is not enough. In Uganda, the road journey matters. Murchison Falls and Queen Elizabeth are both rich wildlife destinations, but they sit in different parts of the country. A good safari needs more than a nice itinerary. It needs a reliable vehicle, a driver guide who understands the route, and planning that respects real travel time.
This journey gives you the drama of the Nile, the wide landscapes of Murchison Falls, the wildlife variety of Queen Elizabeth and the calm beauty of the Kazinga Channel. It also gives you room for photography, birdwatching, lodge relaxation, sunset viewing and cultural stops where timing allows.
Maromi is the Proof That Matters
Maromi has been serving visitors since 2017. The company has grown around a practical strength: reliable transport, organised movement and visitor care. With a 40 vehicle fleet, 16 drivers, 24 hour service, well maintained vehicles, comprehensive insurance and a fleet monitoring system, Maromi is built for journeys that need timing, safety and accountability. This matters because a safari can be weakened by poor transport. If a vehicle is uncomfortable, badly managed or not suited for the route, the visitor feels it every day. Maromi supports airport pick ups, driver guides, routing, safari vehicles, accommodation transfers, activity advice and final drop off support, so your journey feels guided from start to finish.Maromi has also supported clients including corporates, embassies and individuals.

Day 1: Entebbe or Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park
Your safari begins with pick up from Entebbe International Airport, your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala. Your Maromi driver guide will meet you, help with your luggage and brief you on the route before departure.
The drive to Murchison Falls National Park gives you a first view of Uganda beyond the city. You pass towns, countryside, roadside markets and open landscapes as the journey unfolds. This is where the quality of the vehicle and driver guide starts to matter. You should not feel rushed or confused. You should know where you are going, how long the journey may take and where you can stop.
On arrival, you check in at your lodge and rest. If time allows, you may enjoy an evening game drive or sunset viewing. If arrival is late, it is better to relax and start fresh the next morning.

Day 2: Game Drive and Nile Boat Cruise in Murchison Falls
You wake early for a game drive in Murchison Falls National Park. Early mornings are valuable because wildlife is usually more active before the day becomes hot. Your driver guide helps you search for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, warthogs, lions and birdlife while explaining the landscape around you.
After lunch, you take a boat cruise on the Nile. This is one of the strongest experiences in Murchison Falls because it changes the way you see the park. From the water, you may see hippos, crocodiles, water birds and animals coming down to drink. The cruise also gives you a powerful view towards the falls, where the Nile becomes loud, narrow and dramatic.
This day works well because it balances road based wildlife viewing with a slower river experience. That variety keeps the safari fresh and gives you better photography opportunities

Day 3: Delta Experience, Birdwatching and Top of the Falls
This day gives you a deeper look at Murchison Falls. Depending on your interests and the final route plan, you may explore the Delta area, enjoy birdwatching, take another game drive or visit the top of Murchison Falls.
The Delta is especially good if you enjoy birds, open water, landscapes and quieter moments. Many visitors only chase big animals, but the best safari memories often come from the small details: a fish eagle calling, giraffes moving through soft morning light, or the Nile changing colour as the day warms up.
A visit to the top of Murchison Falls helps you understand the power of this park. You see the river squeeze through a narrow gap and drop with force. It is not just a viewpoint. It is the place where the park’s name becomes real.
End the day with lodge relaxation or sunset viewing. Rest is not wasted time on safari. It is part of enjoying the journey properly.

Day 4: Murchison Falls to Queen Elizabeth National Park
This is the day many safari companies describe too lightly. The transfer from Murchison Falls to Queen Elizabeth National Park is a long travel day. That does not make it a bad day, but it must be planned honestly.
With Maromi, the aim is to make the movement feel clear and controlled. Your driver guide will help with timing, comfort stops and route guidance. The scenery changes as you move across Uganda, and the journey gives you a wider sense of the country beyond the parks.
This is also the day where a well maintained 4x4 matters. You need space, comfort, safe driving and a driver who understands real road conditions. Your Maromi vehicle is supported with safety items such as a fire extinguisher, triangles, jack, wheel spanners, jumper leads, three point safety belts, reverse or warning lights, buzzer and fleet monitoring system.
On arrival in Queen Elizabeth, you check in and rest. If timing allows, you may enjoy a short evening drive or sunset viewing near the lodge.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Safari
You begin the day with a game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. This park gives you a different feeling from Murchison Falls. It has open savannah, wetlands, crater scenery, lakes and views that can feel wide and calm. Your guide will help you look out for elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, warthogs, lions and many bird species.
In the afternoon, you take a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel. This is one of Uganda’s most rewarding boat experiences because wildlife gathers close to the water. You may see hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes and many birds along the channel.
The hidden value of this day is rhythm. A morning game drive gives you movement and searching. The boat safari gives you calm viewing and photography from the water. Together, they make the day feel full without becoming exhausting.

Day 6: Chimpanzee Tracking and Departure
On your final day, you may take part in chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge, depending on permit availability, timing and your departure plan. This experience gives you a chance to enter a different kind of environment and search for chimpanzees with trained guides.
Chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura can be rewarding, but sightings may vary. If chimpanzees are the main reason for your trip, Maromi advises you to customise the safari with Kibale Forest National Park. Kibale is better known for chimpanzee tracking and can be added when the number of days allow.
After the activity, your Maromi driver guide transfers you to your final drop off point. This may be Kampala, Entebbe International Airport or another agreed location. If your flight is late in the evening, the plan may work well. If your flight is early, add one more night to avoid pressure.
End of safari.
