Full Travel Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. After checking in, you can relax and prepare for the exciting adventure ahead. Arusha is a bustling city located at the foothills of Mount Meru and is often referred to as the gateway to the Northern Tanzania Safari Circuit.

Day 2: Transfer to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, we will depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its large population of elephants and baobab trees. Upon arrival, you will embark on your first game drive, where you will have the opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife including lions, zebras, wildebeest, and numerous bird species. In the evening, you will check in to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park

Today, we will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and diverse birdlife. You will enjoy a game drive through the park, taking in the stunning scenery of the alkaline lake and the surrounding woodlands. After a full day of exploration, you will head to your lodge for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 4: Transfer to Serengeti National Park

Prepare for an early morning departure as we make our way to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. En route, you will have the chance to visit the Olduvai Gorge, an important archaeological site known as the "Cradle of Mankind". Upon reaching the Serengeti, you will embark on a game drive through the vast plains, home to the annual wildebeest migration and an abundance of predators and other wildlife. You will spend the night at your lodge in the heart of the Serengeti.

Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Today is dedicated to exploring the Serengeti further, with morning and afternoon game drives offering the opportunity to witness the park's diverse ecosystems and incredible wildlife. Keep an eye out for the Big Five – lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinos – as well as cheetahs, giraffes, and hyenas. In the evening, return to your lodge for relaxation and dinner.

Day 6: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, we will depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the iconic Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, you will descend into the crater for a game drive in this natural amphitheatre, which is teeming with wildlife including lions, hippos, and flamingos. Later, you will check in to your lodge situated on the crater rim, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

Day 7: Transfer to Empakaai Crater

Today, you will have the unique opportunity to explore the Empakaai Crater, a lesser-known gem within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This volcanic caldera is home to a stunning crater lake and offers fantastic hiking opportunities with panoramic views of the surrounding highlands. After a day of exploration, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Transfer to Lake Natron

Departing from the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, we will journey towards Lake Natron, a remote and beautiful area at the base of Ol Doinyo Lengai – an active volcano revered by the Maasai people. Upon arrival, you can take a guided walk to the nearby waterfalls or simply relax and enjoy the tranquility of this unique landscape. You will spend the night at a camp overlooking Lake Natron.

Day 9: Transfer back to Arusha

After breakfast, we will begin our journey back to Arusha, passing through scenic landscapes and local villages along the way. Upon reaching Arusha, you can take some time to explore the city or simply unwind at your hotel before departing for your onward journey.

Day 10: Departure

Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time in Arusha before being transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure. As you bid farewell to Tanzania, you will carry with you unforgettable memories of an incredible safari experience in Northern Tanzania. End of safari
