Upon arrival at either Entebbe International Airport or Kigali International Airport, you will be met by a representative who will assist with the transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey to Bwindi is a scenic one, taking you through the beautiful countryside of Uganda or Rwanda, depending on your point of arrival. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to take in the stunning landscapes and perhaps catch a glimpse of the local wildlife. After reaching Bwindi, you will check in to your chosen accommodation, which may range from luxury lodges to more budget-friendly options. Regardless of your choice, you can expect comfortable amenities and warm hospitality, ensuring a restful night before the day's adventure.

The highlight of the 2-day safari is, of course, the gorilla trekking experience. After an early breakfast, you will make your way to the park headquarters for a briefing on the trekking guidelines and to be assigned a gorilla family to visit. Bwindi is home to several habituated gorilla families, each offering a unique encounter with these majestic creatures. Accompanied by experienced guides and trackers, you will set out into the dense forest in search of the gorillas. The trek can vary in duration and difficulty, as the gorilla families may be located at different altitudes within the park. However, the awe-inspiring moment when you finally come face to face with these gentle giants makes every step worthwhile. You will have the opportunity to observe the gorillas in their natural habitat, witnessing their interactions, behaviors, and social dynamics. This up-close encounter offers a rare insight into the lives of these endangered primates and is sure to leave a lasting impression. After spending an unforgettable hour with the gorillas, you will trek back to the park headquarters and receive a certificate as a memento of your experience.
